CP&Y recognizes that one of most important aspects of any project is ability to communicate with both the client and subconsultants in an affective and timely manner.  One of the tools that we use to accomplish this is through the use of Bentley’s ProjectWise Document Server.  Our ProjectWise software allows global access to the “live” project files, allowing our engineers and designers in any of our seven offices to work directly on the same files.  This software will also allow us to set up a remote office anywhere where an internet connection can be found.  Many of the same technologies and techniques used to coordinate CP&Y inter-office project development efforts can also be applied to subconsultant and client coordination.  ProjectWise remote access features allow any of our subconsultants and clients to access the “live” design files on our server, providing real-time project information.  All this can be done at no additional cost to our subconsultants or clients.

Communication with all the stakeholders as well as the general public is a key factor for successful project implementation.  With this in mind, CP&Y has created the ideal communication environment by creating a project specific website that will be able to inform all stakeholders what is happening on the project and where in the process that the project is.  This platform also allows us not only the ability to get information out but to also receive timely feedback on the project/task at hand for better project gauging.

CP&Y also utilizes the latest scheduling tools such as Primavera/Suretrak and Microsoft Office Project to track the progress of the project.
