You can’t find a better place to get your engineering feet wet than CP&Y

You won’t hear CP&Y interns telling stories, or standing around the copy machine all day, or mindlessly updating contact files. You’re talented and you have fresh ideas so we want to learn as much from you as you do from us.

As an intern at CP&Y, you’ll be teamed up with a senior engineer on a wide variety of assignments. The complexity of the assignments you receive is based on the courses you have completed and your related work experience. You might assist in the development of probable construction cost estimates for projects, help with analyzing reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, and aerial photographs on terrain, hydrological characteristics, and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design a project.

Forget coffee duty. We will need your insight and help with the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, studies, and project permits and designs. Need CAD experience? Certain projects may require drafting, primarily using CAD drafting software, computer assisted engineering and design software, and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
