A successful CP&Y candidate should:
- Have experience in overall management, planning, design, and scheduling projects
- Have a BS or MS in Civil Engineering
- Be EIT certified or eligible
- Be flexible and willing to adjust as project, market, and client conditions change
- Be proficient with AutoCAD, Microstation or Geopak
- Be self motivated and a self-starter
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Have outstanding problem solving skills
