 Self-Evaluation 

 and Transition 

 Plan  

With the help of MTC, Lumpkin County has been able to accomplish an ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan for their County facilities, as well as a website audit.

MTC teamed with the County’s staff to create a policy customized to integrate with the County’s existing administrative culture. Web content and development policies and procedures were established to ensure that the ongoing maintenance of website content remained accessible.

MTC facilitated policy development and disseminated all new policies to the appropriate employees and conducted policy training to ensure staff understanding. The primary phases of this project were: Auditing 54 facilities, DOJ Photo Verification, Webpage Evaluation, Website Accessibility Policy Development, and Personnel Evaluations and Training. MTC continues to provide technical assistance for Lumpkin County as they work on their ADA Compliance.
