IH 35/Loop 340 Interchange - TxDOT Waco |
CP&Y provided the Schematic Design for this complicated freeway upgrade project. The project included the designed horizontal alignments and vertical profiles for the mainlanes, frontage roads, direct connectors and ramps (including loop ramps) for this complicated project. CP&Y provided the design of detour alignments and profiles and developed grading plans for intersections and loop ramp locations. CP&Y provided complete Project Management and ensured that this project would compliment future reconstruction efforts on IH 35 including in addition to the future IH 35 widening and proposed direct connectors. |

US 71, Sulphur River to Red River - Atlanta District |
CP&Y provided the engineering and coordination for environmental research and constraints mapping for a corridor study of a new location freeway around Texarkana, TX. Work included compiling and creating GIS information using ArcView software and route optimization using ‘Quantm’, in addition to recommending design criteria to be used in the optimization process. |

US 69, IH 10 to Pine Island Bayou - Beaumont District
|
CP&Y provided the schematic design for the widening of US 69 from four to six lanes. The project included route studies, traffic studies, schematic design, environmental studies and public involvement. This $75 million urban freeway-widening project included a complex multi-level interchange design with IH10, and included layouts of the mainlanes, direct connectors and frontage roads.

Dallas Schematic On-Call - Dallas District |
CP&Y was contracted by the Dallas District to provide on-call services for the District to assist in the review of proposed schematics. This indefinite deliverable contract allowed CP&Y to work as an extension of the Dallas District’s staff to provide a quality check on schematics and provide additional service the District as needed. |
