Capital Improvement Program Management, McKinney, Texas |
CP&Y served as Program Manager for the City of McKinney from 1999 to 2007. During those eight years, CP&Y managed more than 80 ongoing design and construction projects including roadways, water/wastewater, drainage, traffic signals, public
facilities, and parks. The Program covers three separate bond elections totaling over $200 million. To date approximately 85 projects have been constructed and are open to public use. |

General Consultant, Parker, Texas |
CP&Y served as the General Engineering consultant for the City
of Parker under an annually renewable contract. In this capacity CP&Y was
responsible for the design and construction oversight of all city projects as
well as performing plan/plat reviews for proposed private developments
and providing engineering support to the City Council and other city staff. |

Betsy Lane, Collin County, Texas |
CP&Y was responsible for the design of the widening of Betsy Lane from a 2-lane rural asphalt section to a four-lane divided concrete roadway approximately one mile in length. The design included paving and drainage design, utility relocation, signing and striping, traffic control, right-of-way determination, and ADA/TAS compliance. CP&Y later served
as the Owner’s construction administrator for the duration of the project. |

Water System Master Plan, The Colony, Texas |
CP&Y researched and developed a complete model of the city’s existing water system and conducted a pumping system study in conjunction with modeling the expansion of the system to accommodate future population growth. This effort resulted in the development of a new Water System Master Plan for the City. |

Historic Collin County Courthouse Restoration, McKinney, Texas |
CP&Y served as the Owner’s Agent during the design and restoration of this 125 year old landmark. The exterior of the structure was completely restored while the interior rehabilitation included modifications to allow its use as a multifunctional performing arts center as well as a functioning courtroom. All work was done in close coordination with the Texas Historical Commission. |
