We are proud to present a few of our philanthropic pursuits for 2019.
Our employee-owners have had a hand in everything this year from charity golf tournaments to fundraising events that inspired children to pursue careers in S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math). CP&Y staff have run races, taught children to fish, and cooked some good ole Texas BBQ to support and encourage aspiring engineers by providing scholarship opportunities, internships, and externships.
Our staff have collected shoes, toys, canned goods, and school supplies for children and families in need. We have supported clean water initiatives through organizations and institutions like Water For People (WFP), the Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT), the American Water Works Association (AWWA), and American Public Works Association (APWA).
Our employee-owners have also led and hosted research symposiums and panel discussions to drive industry change in support of minorities and women in engineering. We have championed accessibility for all and provided opportunities for veterans through our efforts with events such as the Rocky Mountain ADA Center’s Workshop on “Minimizing Implicit Bias” and the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Conference.
We are thankful to all the CP&Y employee-owners who participated in each of these events, not all of which could be listed here. We are grateful to the organizations and agencies that facilitated our participation in these events.

CP&Y is cheerfully looking forward to another great year of giving in 2020!
