Our team was selected to design the Col. James Connally Aerospace Center at TSTC Waco. The project set about to consolidate the various departments under a single roof to facilitate cooperation and coordination between departments and programs offered within the Aerospace Program (Avionics, Aircraft Maintenance, Pilot Training, and Air Traffic Control Training among others).

A number of classrooms and labs were designed to directly support the mission of the school; however, a several other functions were also part of the program, including a terminal space to facilitate airport traffic, offices for FAA personnel, and a conference center for use by all TSTC programs and the Board. The terminal/academic space is the focal point of the aerospace center and the marketing icon for the Aviation Program and TSTC campus in general. 

 

The project also included a hangar, office space for staff, and breakrooms. Services provided encompassed programming, design, and construction administration.
