Urban Roadway
 
Wurzbach Road, IH-10 WB Frontage Road to Ironside, TxDOT San Antonio District
CP&Y provided engineering design services for the upgrade and widening of this four lane divided city street to include new dedicated left and right turn lanes. The project original included street widening from Bluemel to Ironside and the installation of storm sewers, retaining walls, and sidewalks and the upgrade of traffic signals at the IH-10 frontage roads, Colonnade and Ironside.
SH 29, River Chase Blvd. to I-35, TxDOT Austin District
CP&Y provided construction and environmental documents for the reconstruction of SH 29 in Georgetown, TX. The four-lane divided urban roadway included raised medians, signalized intersections and dual left turn lanes for improved traffic circulation due to adjacent mall development. The $5M project was completed on a fast-track schedule.
 
IH 35 Frontage Road, RM 2243 to SH 29, TxDOT Austin District
This IH 35 Frontage Road project in Williamson County, TX included the construction of 1.5 miles of frontage road and a 520 ft prestressed concrete beam bridge across the South San Gabriel River. The new road construction provided a two lane urban frontage road with a continuous auxiliary right turn lane and reversed the southbound entrance and exit ramp configuration between SH 29 and RM 2243.
 
15th Street, Avenue G to Avenue I, City of Plano, TX
The project consists of the design and preparation of construction documents for the reconstruction of 15th Street from Avenue G to Avenue I. The roadway is being widened to a four-lane curb section. The project includes replacement of existing utilities. Amenities include decorative street lights, brick sidewalks, street trees, and an irrigation and underdrainage systems. TxDOT standards, details, design criteria and specifications were utilized for the paving and drainage elements and the City of Plano standards, details, design criteria and specifications were utilized for the water and wastewater line work.
 
US 59, Jim's Bayou to 1.5 Miles North of Linden, TxDOT Atlanta District
CP&Y completed plans, specifications and estimates for TxDOT (Atlanta District) to widen this section of US 59 thru the East Texas city of Linden. The reconstruction consisted of a six-lane divided curb and gutter section of highway, with additional design for storm sewers, signalization, SW3P, pavement markings and traffic control
