 Taxiway F

 Rehabilitation

CP&Y provided design services for the rehabilitation of Taxiway F, a 13,500 LF parallel taxiway serving the west side of the airport. The rehabilitation consists of the replacement of all transverse and longitudinal concrete joint sealants, removal and replacement of 19,000 SY of selected concrete panels, and reconstruction of asphalt shoulders to meet TDG 7 standards. The project also included full-depth reconstruction of an 850 LF portion of Taxiway G. All taxiway edge lighting in the project area will be replaced, requiring coordination with electrical engineers. A phasing plan was developed to maximize contractor work areas and minimize impacts to airport operations. The project is estimated to be completed in 2020.
