Our internship program provides valuable hands-on experience and the ability to gain knowledge and skills before your career begins. You will be part of a project team performing meaningful work under the guidance of highly qualified professionals. We were named one of the "Best Firm to Work For" by CE News and the reason is clear. Our people define our culture.

During an internship with our firm, interns will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of assignments. The complexity of the assignment is based on course completion and related experience of the individual and may include the following:

  • Develop probable construction cost estimates

  • Analyze reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests and aerial photographs on terrain, and other topographical and geologic date to plan and design projects

  • Design computations and quantity estimates

  • Prepare or modify reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, studies, permits, and designs

  • Occasional drafting, primarily using CAD drafting software

  • Use of computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents

Our internships and co-ops are designed for current students who will be returning to school after the completion of the internship or co-op work session. Our internships are offered in the spring, summer, and fall. Currently, these opportunities are available in our Texas and Oklahoma offices.
