CP&Y’s Leadership Team is pleased to announce the appointment of Marisa Vergara, Senior Vice President, as Water Practice Director.
Marisa Vergara brings over 25 years of engineering experience specializing in water, reuse, and wastewater treatment and municipal projects. “Marisa started her career at CP&Y and has continued to be a tremendous asset to our organization over the years through her strategic thinking and leadership. Her passion for the water industry, dedication to our clients and Employee Owners, and expertise in project management makes her an excellent choice for this position,” remarked CP&Y’s Director of Operations, Shane Wade.
Marisa Vergara is a Professional Engineer and has managed conceptual design for construction projects totaling more than $1 billion, including an ACEC National Grand Engineering Excellence Award project with the San Antonio Water System. Her work on projects such as the historic Vista Ridge P3 water supply project has garnered national attention and recognition. She is a former ENR Texas & Louisiana Top 20 under 40 Engineering Professional, a Texas AWWA / WEAT Distinguished Member recipient, a TAWWA Maverick Award Winner, and a recipient of the Kenneth Miller Water For People Founder’s Award.
