Eric Ploch Joins CP&Y, an STV Company, as Director of Program Management


CP&Y, an STV Company, is excited to welcome Eric Ploch, P.E., to our Austin office as Vice President and Director of Program Management.


Eric is a seasoned professional with more than 30 years of experience in transportation design, planning, and program management. He has previously served as a Senior Program Manager and Principal-in-Charge of critical General Engineering Consultant (GEC) contracts and project management consulting projects throughout Texas. Eric has also provided leadership and advisory services to major transportation clients such as the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority (CTRMA), the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), and the Missouri Department of Transportation.


“Eric brings exceptional depth and expertise in the program management field,” said Robin Handel, CP&Y’s Director of Transportation. “His profound knowledge, coupled with his leadership and strategic view of projects, will provide clients with an advocate in their corner. He raises the bar when it comes to client service.”


Eric also brings significant experience and involvement with the Austin community. He is a member of the Council of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) Austin Chapter and is a mentor to civil engineering students completing their Engineering Professionalism/Senior Design Class at the University of Texas at Austin. He has supported local Austin clients such as CTRMA, TxDOT Austin District, and TxDOT Toll Operations Division. He has also served as Principal-in-Charge for transit assignments with the Capital Metro Transportation Authority (CapMetro), as well as transportation projects with the City of Austin.


As Director of Program Management, Eric will focus on enhancing the portfolio of program management services at STV and CP&Y and aligning market opportunities with capabilities.


Eric holds both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla.
