

Runway 7-25 Conversion to Taxiway H
Our team provided design and bid phase services for the Runway 7-25 Conversion to Taxiway H. The project involves the rehabilitation via mill and overlay of existing runway asphalt pavement, the addition of full-depth shoulder pavement, demolition of pavement east of Runway 16-34, installation of edge lights, taxiway pavement markings, and airfield drainage structures and pipes.
The construction support and construction management functions include full time construction inspection/ observation, quality assurance field and lab materials testing, as-built surveying, and coordination with various entities including the Federal Aviation Administration – Washington Airports District Office (FAA WADO), FAA Tech Ops, Virginia Department of Aviation, Henrico County Department of Public Utilities and Department of Public Works, and Commission (CRAC) staff.
