Our team performed QLB utility designation at 38 proposed culvert extension sites along a 15-mile corridor of FM 117 including the towns of Divot and Dilley. Fiber communication cables and a pipeline paralleled the length of the majority of the project.

 

The utility mapping was surveyed and provided to the client in a MicroStation format. After the design engineer determined conflicts, our SUE team then performed 35 QLA vacuum excavation test holes. The client was provided with the signed and sealed test hole data that provided the exact horizontal and vertical locations of each utility. In addition to the fiber and pipeline, we excavated holes on untraceable plastic water lines and completed this task without issue because of our experienced field crew.
