CP&Y Begins Building SUE Team in San Antonio with Assistant SUE Manager, Adam Ramos, Jr.

Meet Adam Ramos, Jr. Assistant SUE Manager, San Antonio, Texas, CP&Y

We are proud to announce the newest addition to our San Antonio office – Adam Ramos, Jr.! Adam joins our team as the Assistant SUE Manager in San Antonio and will support both federal and CEI business objectives. With his new post, Adam will be the start of CP&Y’s foothold for SUE services in south-central Texas.

Prior to joining CP&Y, Adam served as Project Manager for the City of San Antonio’s street preservation and sidewalk improvement projects, starting with contracting to design through to construction. His work for the City also included its 2018 and 2019 Preservation Programs as well as other various street improvement projects of over $1 million in construction cost.

Adam is not only familiar with the City’s processes and projects, but also its people. From the City’s Project Managers, Engineers, and Program Managers to elected officials, Adam recommended solutions, provide bid tabulation estimates, facilitate municipal permit approval, construction management services, and task order contracts while addressing residents’ concerns. Furthermore, he has worked alongside the City of San Antonio’s Development Services Department and the Texas Commission on Environment Quality (TCEQ) for construction permitting and design approval.

Adam’s span of leadership and management skills includes facility management experience, which consisted of financial reporting and analysis for multi-concept business units ranging in revenue from $40 to $350 million. Throughout his 11-year tenure, Adam has passionately lead teams ranging from 2 to over 150 people.

Adam served in the U.S. Army as a combat engineer and was deployed in combat operations to Iraq and Afghanistan. For his service, Adam was awarded the Bronze Star Medal. Now with CP&Y, Adam will represent our firm with the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) in San Antonio. He will also be a key driver of CP&Y’s federal initiatives as we grow more active in this business sector.

Adam earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2008. His internship with the Army Corps of Engineers at Fort Bliss included work on an over $3 billion expansion project and land surveying experience.

Outside of work, Adam is a proud husband and father of four. He is also an active member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the South Texas Chapter of the West Point Association of Graduates.
